Do the canvases include yarn? Do I need to purchase the thread separately?
All needlepoint canvases are sold without thread. There are a few exceptions, such as the Sailboat Kit or the Farm Kit. It is easy to tell which items include thread and which don't, as it is mentioned clearly in the product description. Also, those items are generally called "kits", which is a needlepoint term that indicates that thread is included in the purchase price.
For all other products, you will need to match threads and purchase them separately. To make this easier for you, many of the canvases come with color swatches along the side, or along the bottom. Some of them even specify the DMC color code, which makes it even easier. Furthermore, make sure to check out the products that come with Stitch Guides, as these useful mini-books will often make thread suggestions along with all the other helpful instructions.
Where on the website can I purchase threads for my canvases?
All needlepoint canvases are sold without thread (see previous FAQ). At this time, Pointseller doesn't offer threads for sale on the website, but this is likely to change as we expand our product offering.
I'm looking for hand-painted needlepoint canvas, but I can't seem to find any?
Pointseller specializes in printed canvas. We realize that the needlecraft industry has advertised that handpainted canvas is superior to printed canvas; however, we do not subscribe to this fallacy, and we are willing to convince you, too! The quality of our printed canvases exceed many of their handpainted counterparts. We have reviewed many different designers that do printing and carefully select only those whose work is indistinguishable from painted pieces. Only by scrutinizing them closely would you be able to tell that these are printed and not painted. Many delighted customers have assured us that our product line is comparable to hand painted canvases. We think you will agree.
We require from our suppliers that all canvases be produced on thick cotton weave, such as Zweigart Mono Deluxe. The printing process must use high-quality brand-name inks, and tested to ensure long-lasting brightness that is maximally colorfast.
High-quality printed canvas can be produced far more economically and much faster than painted canvas. Some handpainted canvas designers impose a 6-week wait before they can fulfill orders for handpainted items. If you can't find what you're looking for, you may fill out a form on the results page requesting the exact design you seek. Our buyers can try to locate it, or our designers can try and draft a canvas for your review.
Can you customize my canvas?
Please use the Contact Form to send us your specific customization request. In most cases it can be done at additional charge. We will get in touch with the designer and work with them to get your request done. These orders can take from 2 to 4 weeks longer to fulfill than regular off-the-shelf items.
Examples of some of the customizations you might do are image enlargement, rotation, changes to text or fonts, and color changes.More extensive customizations, or a custom canvas created to spec, are priced on an individual basis.

Do I have to wait long to get my items? How long does it take?
We will have your order packed and shipped on the business day following your order. If you selected the free shipping option during checkout, the order is shipped using U.S.P.S. First Class mail. A general rule of thumb is to take the first digit of your zip code to estimate the number of days it will take to arrive. For example, if your zip code begins with 5, it will usually be about five days for you to get your order.
Do you want to get your items sooner? You may want to opt for Priority Mail, available during checkout. with Priority Mail, it takes about 2-3 business days for you to receive your order.

Do you ship to my country?

I'm unhappy with my purchase. Can I return it?
Pointseller is proud of the quality of the products we sell. However we understand that sometimes a customer would prefer to return an item. Therefore we have a 30-day unconditional money-back guarantee on all purchases (except where noted). Just tell us using the contact form on the site that you intend to return an item. Then just ship it back to us and we will credit your account as soon as it's received.
